Frisking of Kalam is an insult to nation

ITS HIGHLY SHOCKING THAT THE ONCE SUPREME COMMANDER OF THE INDIAN DEFENCE FORCE HAD TO UNDERGO THIS HUMILIATION.BEING A VERY SIMPLE MAN MR KALAM WOULD HAVE GONE THROUGH THE RITUAL WITHOUT EVEN BATTING AN EYELID. AND I AM POSTING THIS AFTER HEARING THE APOLOGY REPORT FROM SO CALLED AIRLINE COMPANY AND EXPLANATION BY AMERICAN AUTHORITY. IN THAT APOLOGY LETTER ALSO THEY ARE SHOWING SOMEWHAT “WORLD POLICE” ATTITTUDE.
According to reports, on April 24, Kalam was subjected to a search and even asked to take his shoes off by the airline staff just as he was about to board the aircraft; he was made to stand in line with other passengers. The airline's "so called security" that takes place after passing through numerous x-ray machines & metal detector tests if at all anything is just another meaningless exercise. It is a well established joke that Mullah Omar escaped on a moped with all of America's hi-tech gadgetry and strong armed forces pursuing him. It must be a fact that the Continental Airlines security manual states that any brown skinned individual with a Muslim sounding name has to be body searched before he is allowed to board the aircraft.
WE HAIL PRESIDENT KALAM AS ONE OF THE MOST INTELLECTUAL AND MOST RESPECTED SCIENTIST IN INDIAN POLITICS HE HAS EVERY RIGHT TO DEMAND RESPECT. ITS A SHAME ON INDIAN GOVERNMENT IF WE DO NOT ACT NOW. IMAGINE IF PRESIDENT OBAMA OR PUTIN WOULD HAVE GONE THROUGH THIS THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A NATIONAL UPROAR AND INDIA COULD HAVE ENDED TERMINATING THOSE AIRLINE EMPLOYEES.
CURRENT INDIAN LEADERS HAS ALLOWED THE NATION TO TURN INTO A "TRASH CAN".MR. MANMOHAN, NATIONS DON'T DO DEALS THAT ARE HUMILIATING AND CONTARARY TO SOVERIGNITY OF THE NATION. INDIA IN FACT SHOULD BE A FORMIDABLE NUKE MILITARY POWER WITH ICBMs AND SLBMs SO NO POWER ON THIS GLOBE CAN INSULT, DICTATE AND MADDLE AROUND WITH IT'S AFFAIRS.
