Mohan Lal - The Ultimate Star

An actor beyond boundaries, the ultimate super star Yes one and only Mohanlal.Mohanlal has been lauded by critics and masses alike. Having championed the cause of meaningful and entertaining movies through out his eventful career of three decades, it was not a bed of roses for him. Breaking in to the world of glamour and fame as an anti-hero, Lal’s rise to the Numero Uno position of Malayalam film industry is unmatchable. The growth was rock steady and thoroughly deserved; through a series of characters that he has immortalized Lal ensured a place in the hearts of his audience. And here I would like to post about Mohanlal, the main reason behind this post is One of my friend he always criticicing me as an anti-mohanlal fan. Yes I was a great fan of Mohanlal till his filim "Narasimham". I guess you guys can understand what about his later filims. It doesn’t mean I am a fan of anyone else. Yet again Mohanlal is one of the versatile actor in Indian Filim industry in all perspectives, take his act, comedy, fight, dance anything he is the ultimate star. Mini Biography::
Mohan Lal was born to father Viswanathan Nair and Mother Santhakumari in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, in the Southern part of India on 21st May 1960. Starting his career with a classic villain role, he has now become an outstanding actor of Malayalam Cinema in Kerala. Without no doubt, Mohan Lal is today's one of the best actors India has ever produced. He is also rated one of the most talented actors in India. His ranges of movies are enviable, his comedy roles are incomparable and his unique style of dialogue delivery is effortless. Not many actors can portray both comedy and serious roles with the same ease. And with all these rare talents he has received "Padmashri", one of the nations highest civilian honors. He also won the National award for the best actor twice for films Bharatham (1991) and highly acclaimed Vaanaprastham (1999). Mohanlal is the greatest actor India has ever produced. This is according to directors ranging from Shaji N. Karun, Mani Rathnam, and Priyadarshan, to Ram Gopal Varma
He has reached this position with his hard work and devotion to the movie industry. As far as his acting is concerned, it's been acknowledged many times that he's the most gifted actor on the Indian movie field.Has won the Kerala State Award for Best Actor four times, for his roles in T.P. Balagopalan M.A. (1986), for Ulladakkam (1991), _Kilukkam (1988)_, & Abhimanyu, for Kala Pani (1996), & Sphadikam (1995), and for Vaanaprastham (1999).Won the National Award for Best Actor for his roles in Bharatham (1991) and Vaanaprastham (1999). Mohanlal also produced Vaanaprastham (1999), which won the National Award for Best Film. Was also awarded the Jury's Special Award for Kireedam (1989).Was awarded the Nation's Civilian Honor of 'Padma Shri' in 2001.

Like most other Indian stars, Mohanlal's acting career does not have a theatre background. However he has acted in a few plays. He debuted on the stage as Karna (a character in the Indian epic Mahabharata) in Karnabharam, a Sanskrit play that was premiered in New Delhi as part of the National Theatre Festival. The play depicts Karna's mental agony a day before the Kurukshetra war, when he thinks about his past and his faith.
